Customers using Webfiling, XML Gateway (software filing & search), CHD or WebCHeck will experience some disruption to these services during this maintenance window.

Webfiling and XMLGateway submissions will be queued during this period and these submissions will processed as normal after 10am (or earlier if the work is completed before then).

Hi there,

I wrote an application in 2015 integrating with Companies House XML Gateway. I am now tasked to do some more integration work with Companies House. It appears that the new REST API is still quite limited in what you can do. I am looking to do things like submit annual returns, change director details. Am I right in assuming that I continue to use the XML Gateway?

Hello Matthew,

Yes, the XML gateway will be around for the foreseeable future - the only filing option currently enabled on the API is a change of registered office.
